Bethesda Announces DLC Release Dates For Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Publisher Bethesda Softworks announced release dates for two of the three downloadable content packs, all of which make up the game's $24.99 season pass.

Bethesda has detailed its plans for the post-release schedule of alt-history shooter Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus in an update posted today on their website. You can check out all three characters in "Episode Zero", which is available now for season pass holders and people who pre-ordered Wolfenstein 2. Next month, players will get The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, aka Joseph Stallion, the former football star fond of tackling Nazis into the ground. Next up after that is The Diaries of Agent Silent Death on January 20, following Jessica Valian as she infiltrates Nazi bunkers in California to figure out what's going on behind Operation San Andreas.

Injustice 2 features the DC universe's characters battling it, but having non-DC characters in-game is not unusual for the series. Injustice 2 will receive its final DLC character pack soon, and the characters have been announced in a new video.

Wolfenstein 2's first post-launch DLC pack, The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, is set to be released December 14. Last of the announced DLC is The Deeds of Captain Wilkins arriving sometime in March 2018, which lets you use the undoubted king of the upgrades, the Battle Stilts, to gun down some Nazi scum.

If you're planning on purchasing all of these anyway, you can save yourself some trouble and a bit of money by buying the season pass for Wolfenstein II: The Freedom Chronicles, the collection of DLC that includes all of the ones listed here. As it turns out, Bethesda has since revealed the release dates for developer Machine Games' upcoming The Freedom Chronicles DLC. Except they're totally not, since you'll be able to play as them in Wolfenstein 2's DLC!
