Ranveer's Simmba: Karan, Rohit join hands, Christmas 2018 triple clash averted

The fun-loving easy going Ranveer Singh is back in action in Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar's first film together titled "Simmba" where he plays the role of a police officer. Co-produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions, Simmba is scheduled to arrive in theatres across the world on 28th December, 2018.

The last time Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh went head-to-head against each other at the box office, it was in 2015.

'TIME' Names the #MeToo 'Silence Breakers' as Person of the Year 2017
Time Magazine has named " The Silence Breakers: The Voices That Launched a Movement" as a collective " Person of the Year ". Last month, Trump suggested he was going to be named Time Person of the Year again, but that he turned it down.

Speculations are also rife that actress Kajal Agrawal, who also featured in the original film, will play the leading lady in Simmba.

Ranveer, dressed as a quirky policeman, sports a pair of tinted sunglasses and a hook style moustache, looks every bit the entertainer he is.

Eli Manning to start against Cowboys
McAdoo is the first Giants head coach to be relieved of his duties in-season since 1976 when Bill Arnsparger was sacked .

"Simmba" is inspired from the Jr NTR starrer Telugu hit "Temper", but Rohit had clarified that it won't be an exact copy, though he has bought the rights.

Rohit had earlier told PTI, "I will start the film next year in May or June". On Thursday, the actor has make it official by sharing the first look poster of the film. We wanted to take four-five scenes from Temper but we thought it's better to buy the rights.

Amazon Prime Video for Apple TV is finally available
Roku makes set-top boxes and dongles and has a smart TV software platform that supports all the major streaming video services. There's also a new Sports tab in the Apple TV app which is home to information about teams, leagues and on-going games.

The first look poster of Simmba is a splash of colour as one would expect for an actor as eccentric and experimental as Ranveer Singh. Karan took the lead to introduce the film with the caption, "28th December 2018!" He does not think, 'If I perform in a certain way, what will this or that person think.' That's the quality of a superstar.
