Tokyo-bound flight turns back after four hours due to ''unauthorised person''

Per The Guardian, an unidentified "rogue passenger" somehow boarded the wrong plane-a la Kevin McCallister in Home Alone 2: Lost In New York-and no one noticed until everyone was hovering somewhere over the North Pacific.

On Tuesday night, the couple was on a direct All Nippon Airways flight, making their way to Tokyo. Why not just land in Tokyo and send the other person back? Reader, she remains one of the best Twitter users out there.

Teigen also tweeted photos, videos and updates as they waited to resume the trip.

Not Released
All Nippon Airways apologized to its passengers saying it “failed to deliver the customer service we strive for.”

Teigen however, chose to have fun with the cards she was dealt, interacting with fans on social media, and giving a hilarious take on an otherwise painful ordeal.

Federal Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said the agency conducted interviews Tuesday night but made no arrest.

In a statement, All Nippon Airways said they were investigating how the mistake occurred.

Pakistan played cruel joke, Jadhav meeting a drama, says Sarabjit Singh's sister
In a reaction to the move, Pakistan's relations with neighbouring India tensed, and New Delhi approached the ICJ to hear the case. He said the meeting was originally scheduled to last half an hour but was extended by another 10 minutes.

A US government official with knowledge of the situation says the incident involved two brothers - one ticketed on ANA and the other on a United Airlines flight leaving around the same time.

The official who spoke on condition of anonymity says both cleared security and had valid boarding passes. The pilot made the decision to return to Los Angeles.

The passenger reportedly had a boarding pass for a United flight, not an ANA flight, which makes this entire mix-up even more confounding, given the number times are an airline passenger's boarding pass and identification are scanned and scrutinized from the time they arrive at an airport to the time they're allowed on a plane.

South Florida scores late TD to outlast Texas Tech in Birmingham Bowl
The junior linebacker for the Red Raiders forced a fumble to begin the half and recovered another that led to a Texas Tech score. The senior quarterback was also a threat on the ground, as he rushed for 106 yards and another touchdown on 14 carries.

"During the flight, the cabin crew became aware that one of the passengers boarded the incorrect flight and notified the pilot", the statement said. "ANA would like to express its apologies to the passengers for the inconvenience", it said.

Hatch, Tribune Trade Barbs Over 'Utahn Of The Year' Editorial
Perhaps the most significant move of Hatch's career is the one that should, if there is any justice, end it. Hatch himself was second-to-last, with 14 votes, and Rudy Gobert - his other choice - was dead last.
