Donald Glover's 'Atlanta' Returns To FX In March

One of the biggest surprises of 2016 was FX's Atlanta, Donald Glover's insightful and occasionally surreal look at a young man trying to make his mark in the rap biz by managing his cousin.

Season 2 will take place in Atlanta during the holiday season, a time when robberies spike as people have more money and need more money.

Glover is back as the Emmy-winning show's executive producer, along with Paul Simms, Dianne McGunigle, and Stephen Glover. "Basically, a bunch of crime happens in the city, because everyone has their Christmas gifts, people just have more stuff and money". Various episodes in Season 1 felt like the kind of bold moves you only make in a second or third season of a series, but Glover and his team went for it and resulted in something surprising, thrilling, and unlike anything else on TV.
