Katie Nolan Warned, Not Suspended by ESPN ... For Trump Attack

After host Katie Nolan called the president a "f**king stupid person" during a Wednesday appearance on Viceland's "Desus & Mero" talk show, the network reportedly will NOT suspend her, according to TMZ Sports. But it was obviously worse than "f-ing stupid person". A few seconds earlier she had referred to Trump in language that was bleeped out. The network adds that "they were inappropriate and we have addressed it with her".

By way of explaining her earlier name calling, Nolan says, 'I'm on a lot of meds right now, ' before issuing a phlegmy cough.

Nolan joined ESPN in October, moving from Fox Sports.

One of Nolan's new ESPN colleagues, Jemele Hill, was suspended in October for two weeks (with pay) for repeatedly violating the network's social media guidelines on Twitter. She previously had tweeted that Trump was a "white supremacist". That led to a back-and-forth between the president and ESPN.

Nolan clamored to cover up her harsh words, saying she was on "medicine" because she had the flu.

ESPN issued revised guidelines on social media and political commentary late past year.
