Monaco don't think they can hold onto Arsenal, Liverpool target

Monaco boss, Leonardo Jardim has claimed that Thomas Lemar could leave the club in January amid interest from a number of Premier League sides including Arsenal (via The Metro).

However, with Liverpool losing Philippe Coutinho after a long and drawn out battle with Barcelona and Arsenal potentially seeing both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil leave the club, both clubs could use Thomas Lemar to fill the gaps.

Liverpool would need to eclipse the club-record fee paid for Virgil van Dijk if they are to be successful in signing AS Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar.

National Football League investigating Panthers again for potential violation of concussion protocol
On Monday, Carolina players, coaches and interim general manager Marty Hurney met with reporters to wrap up the season. According to the policy, if the protocol was not properly followed, the team is subject to discipline.

Lemar has been included in Monaco's squad for Tuesday's Coupe de la Ligue quarter-final at Nice, but striker Radamel Falcao is out with a calf injury.

"The thing is that in the summer he was definitely closer to joining Arsenal than Liverpool".

"One is that Monaco are the boss in terms of selling players and when to sell the players and how to sell the players and at which price".

Google announces Google Pay to replace Android Pay and Google Wallet

The 21-year-old is a rising talent in France and made 34 appearances last season for Monaco, as they won the title. "We wait until the summer because we feel that's not the right time for us to sell". In a bid to maintain the attacking prowess Liverpool are determined to get Lemar but are yet to formally bid for the player.

"We don't usually sell in winter, but the transfer window is open until the end of the month, and you have to prepare yourself for anything and everything", Jardim told L'Equipe.

The Gunners looked certain to land the mercurial France global after what would have been a club record fee was agreed. But it also makes a lot of sense as to why Lemar would want to wait, why Monaco would want to wait.
