Roland went missing after covering a football camp on Saturday in Houston, according to her family.

Her website also said Roland was "selected to represent Spring, Texas in the Miss Texas Teen USA Pageant", and has worked as a model. She appears unharmed. She'll be taken to an area hospital for an evaluation.

Her Jeep later was found with her phone and other personal items inside.

It is not yet known exactly where Roland was when she was found or if she was alone.

Family and friends are desperately searching for a missing sports reporter who hasn't been heard from since messaging her roommate to say she was being followed by a "suspicious man". The man reportedly followed her home, but drove off when she got out of the vehicle.

On Sunday, the television station added, "Roland's mother received a text from her phone saying, 'hello the owner of this phone Courtney. I am purchasing an iPad".

Throughout social media, Roland's peers and colleagues posted about the reporter's disappearance.

Anyone with information on the missing 29-year-old is asked to contact the Houston Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 832-394-1840.

Investigators later found Roland's Jeep Cherokee parked outside the mall around midnight. "She cared for other people".

Roland texted her roommate that same day, saying she feared a unusual man at a Walgreens was following her, Click2Houston reports.

"If somebody has her, we just want to tell them we love you too", her dad, Steve Roland, told KHOU.
