Poch asks Spurs to step up in Kane's absence

Mauricio Pochettino said he was very happy to see Tottenham claim a "massive" three points after a 4-1 dismantling of Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Pochettino added: "I don't believe that is a big issue for Alli".

The loss of England worldwide Kane, Tottenham's top scorer, who went off with an ankle injury on the half-hour, took some of the gloss off a hard-won comeback victory with the visitors slightly flattered by two late goals.

"Look, in football you need always some luck because the decision should be different, maybe now we are talking in a different way, but that is football, it happened Wednesday [against Juventus], happened the week before, but I accept football is like this".

AC Milan v Arsenal - story of the match
When we don't do it of course I'm suffering like everyone else. They did well to block our play in the midfield . Overall I'm pleased with the spirit we showed.

If Kane is sidelined for a fortnight or more, Son is likely to lead the line in next week's FA Cup quarterfinal at Swansea and when Spurs return to Premier League action at Chelsea on April 1.

"The Cherries were denied victory by Riyad Mahrez's 97th-minute equaliser for Leicester last week but I don't think they will find themselves in a similar position this time around". Eight rounds remain in the race for the four Champions League spots.

Alli equalized with a composed volley at the back post shortly after Kane went off, but it was Son who won the match.

Kane is enjoying another fine season in front of goal for Spurs, as the England worldwide is level with Mohamed Salah atop the Premier League scoring charts with 24 goals as he aims for a third straight Golden Boot award.

Akbaruddin, however, said it should be clear to the armed opposition that there will be no tolerance for those who continue violence. "Security forces didn't allow us to move afterwards", he said.

Kane hobbled off on 34 minutes after damaging his ankle in a challenge with Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

Tottenham sealed victory with their third goal in the 87 minute when Christian Eriksen played Heung-Min Son through on goal and he made no mistake with just the keeper to beat, 3-1.

And Aurier pounced when Begovic could only parry Kieran Trippier's cross in stoppage time to round off a fine fightback by the visitors.

Watford could have got back into the game at 2-0, but Troy Deeney saw his penalty saved by Petr Cech.

In a real life situation that nearly echoed in this week's finale , Roberson wrote, "He'd often see both of us on the same day". He claimed the girlfriend, Cassie Harshman, broke up with him over the phone after telling him she had suffered a miscarriage.

"But if you're positive you start the recovery from injury from now".
