RE: Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo: Geneva 2018

For the moment, at least, the Mission E Cross Turismo is being described as a "concept study", but it's also being referred to by Blume as a "continuation" of the electrification plan first launched with the Mission E sports auto which made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015. This time, however, there will be no waiting to get behind the wheel, because as early as 2019, the production version of the current-carrying, nearly five-meter-long cross-utility vehicle should be on the road, which could be risky for USA electric auto giant Tesla. Billed as a CUV, or Cross Utility Vehicle, the all-electric design study is heavily influenced by the current Panamera Sport Turismo and showcases the brand's pure EV credentials.

Powertrain-wise, the Cross Turismo looks a lot like the fastback: two synchronous electric motors adding up to "over 600 hp", which yields 0-62 miles per hour sprints under 3.5 seconds and 0-124 miles per hour runs under 12 seconds. The Mission E Cross Turismo rolls on 20-inch wheel shod with 274/40 R20 tires. The Cross Turismo has a range of more than 311 miles on a single charge which is on par with the Model X. However, Porsche's 800-volt charging architecture allows the Cross Turismo to charge up to 249 miles of range in just 15 minutes, something Tesla's 400-volt Supercharger system can't do.

The Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo comes with rugged offroad tires, and elevated body with greater ground clearance. The same can be said for the extra-wide instrument panel, with touchscreen displays for the driver and front passenger.

For the Oscar, Janney beat out Laurie Metcalf (" Lady Bird "), Lesley Manville (" Phantom Thread "), Octavia Spencer (" The Shape of Water ") and Mary J.

Here's how Porsche describes it: "Using a camera in the rear-view mirror, the eye-tracking system detects which instrument the driver is looking at".

Further tech specs are to be revealed, but it'll feature inductive (wireless) charging, all-wheel steering, air suspension and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC).

What's the Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo like inside?

Samsung's Galaxy S9+ named Best New Connected Mobile Device at MWC 2018
This means that the Galaxy S9 Plus now has the best rating of any camera in the market above the Pixel 2 and the iPhone X. Cameras: 12 megapixel rear f/1.5 and f/2.4 super speed dual pixel OIS camera and 12 megapixel telephoto f/2.4 OIS camera.

Though Porsche's first EV doesn't beat the Model S in a straight line, the German brand says its vehicle is more reliable for performance and won't turn down power after repeated launches.

How fast does it charge and what's the driving range?

The Mission E Cross Turismo can be recharged via a fast charging network, induction, charging station, or using the Porsche home energy storage system. "It combines sportiness and everyday practicality in a unique style".

Reiterating Blume's comments that the Mission E Cross Turismo was created as a feasibility study, Mauer adds it will be useful "to find out if this vehicle has future potential".
