What Daniel Bryan's return means to WWE

What Daniel Bryan's return means to WWE

Per WWE: "Bryan underwent a full review of his medical history and received comprehensive neurological and physical evaluations independent of WWE". The big thing to focus on is the fact that Bryan is cleared to wrestle as much as he wants or as much WWE needs him to wrestle.

It has been a long two years for the current SmackDown Live General Manager.

WWE events rang out with "Yes!" during 2013 and 2014, when Bryan became one of the company's biggest draws and won the world heavyweight championship at WrestleMania XXX. That's because the hugely popular Daniel Bryan was cleared Tuesday to return to the pro-wrestling ring. The show ended with Bryan getting beat down by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, but Bryan wasn't anxious.

This is good because Bryan is perhaps the best in-ring performer of his generation and the rare wrestler universally beloved by all segments of the WWE audience.

Bryan opened Smackdown Live Tuesday to discuss his journey from announcing his retirement from in-ring action in February 2016 to now being able to promise fans that he will again step into the squared circle as a Superstar.

The news of Bryan's return instantly melted the WWE Universe. It seemed like he would never wrestle again, but Bryan's long journey culminated last night when he reiterated a historic announcement from earlier in the day. Miz has mocked Bryan's inability to get cleared, and did so again Tuesday on Twitter. He told the crowd that was chanting "Yes, Yes, Yes": "If you fight for your dreams, your dreams will fight for you!"

Freeman delayed his decision in December, saying his office needed more time and he did not have enough evidence to charge Noor. It said Harrity was startled, perceived his life was in danger, pulled his gun and held it to his ribcage pointing downward.

One could nearly feel the energy coming from Bryan as he blasted Kevin Owens with kicks on the latest SmackDown, and (eventual stretcher job notwithstanding) it was great to see him back where he belongs.

For now, at least, WWE fans are more than happy to check that cynicism at the door. The Yes Movement and Black's darkness could create a terrific program, capped off by a man with a legitimate kickboxing background and a killer spinning heel kick finisher called "Black Mass" would also create angles of intrigue against Bryan's publicized head and neck issues. It is believed that since he's been cleared, he will not be looking to leave WWE once his contract expires in September. Shinsuke Nakamura faces Rusev, Charlotte Flair takes on Natalya, and there are a few other matches throughout the show.

It's a fine statement to make, though the bankruptcy filing is also a blow to women with pending lawsuits against the studio. He sold the rights to Paddington Bear to Warner Bros. but was soon accused of sexual misconduct himself.
