Arsenal fans are angry at Arsene Wenger's comments about the home support

There is growing disaffection among fans and the indications are that Wenger will step down after 22 years at the club.

Cazorla is now in Spain undergoing his rehabilitation programme but Wenger says he'll be back in north London before the end of the season to be assessed and a final decision will be made over his future.

However, no matter how seemingly impossible it could be, Arsenal have endured an even worse League campaign than the last, now sitting in sixth, an incredible 14 points behind Tottenham who are in fourth.

"Its a big opponent to beat them".

"I can not give you any news because I don't know what's really in his mind", the Gunners boss told a news conference. But the last news I heard is that he is doing very well, so I hope that certainly he will come back before the end of the season and we can make a check-up of where he stands.

They claim that club legend Patrick Vieira will be on the shortlist to replace his former manager, for whom he played under for nine seasons, winning three Premier League titles and three FA Cups.

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has challenged his players to end the season on a high starting with the visit of West Ham.

"Atletico are the favourites for the competition, but at our best, we can beat them".

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson is far more concerned than Wenger by the poor attendances.

"The performances just haven't been good enough".

Markets open in green; Sensex, Nifty trade higher on global cues
At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex gained 95.61 or 0.28% at 34,427.29 with 17 components registering rise. IndusInd Bank gained 0.69 percent to 1857.45 and TCS rose 0.43 percent to Rs 3173 ahead of earnings.

However, with Wilshere's negotiations taking longer, Wenger insists players can not simply be paid what they ask for. Away from home is where we have failed.

"That's always unsafe for managers and clubs".

Asked if Cazorla can still cope with the top flight's intensity, he added: "To be completely honest, I don't know".

"It's been very rare to see the Emirates half empty". Wenger, at his press conference today, fails to recognize a problem (s). Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
