Baltimore Ravens Sign QB Robert Griffin III

Baltimore Ravens Sign QB Robert Griffin III

General manager Ozzie Newsome announced the deal at the beginning of the team's pre-draft press conference at the Under Armour Performance Center on Wednesday. After Griffin took a visit to another team, Baltimore then struck a deal with the former Heisman Trophy victor late Tuesday. The two sides came to a contract agreement Tuesday and Griffin is expected to officially sign next week. "He will probably be here early next week to sign the deal", Newsome said.

Now he'll get another chance to show that he can at least make an National Football League roster, although in Baltimore he's slated to compete for a backup spot behind Joe Flacco.

I pray my opponent will be safe - Joshua dismisses Wilder's sick jibe
The WBA-IBF-WBO champion challenged Wilder to start talks for a bout to decide the undisputed world heavyweight champion. But AJ's promoter Eddie Hearn claimed American Wilder, 32, has been ducking a superfight with the undefeated Brit.

Griffin, 28, sat out the entire 2017 season after being cut by the Cleveland Browns last March. It's possible Baltimore could still look to draft a developmental quarterback as well. "He's a very talented quarterback", he said. "This moves makes us better".

Griffin is now the third quarterback on the roster. I feel like we got a steal. While he had an impressive rookie season, injuries limited his productivity the next few years.

Trump spends a second day incorrectly linking 'caravans' to DACA
But the caravan has nothing to do with DACA - the roughly 1,200 people marching mostly from Honduras are seeking political asylum. Those enrolled in DACA had pinned their hopes on Democrats, who had continuously promised to win permanent legal status for them.

Griffin was the second overall pick of the Washington Redskins in 2012 after a Heisman Trophy-winning junior season at Baylor. Griffin started five games for the Browns in 2016, completing 59.2 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and three interceptions before being released. "I felt like he really wanted to be here, be a Raven".

RG3 returned in 2013 but was benched after throwing 16 TD passes and 13 interceptions.

The conventional wisdom is that Apple is a laggard in the race to infuse consumer technology with artificial intelligence . He originally joined the company after Google bought startup Metaweb , where he acted as Chief Technolgy Officer, in 2010.

According to reports, the Ravens initially brought Griffin in to throw to receivers, and then invited him back for a meeting before signing him late April 3.
