Colin Kaepernick Seahawks Visit Postponed Over Kneeling Controversy

Per Yahoo Sports, at least four other National Football League owners are still on the docket for depositions, including the New England Patriots' Robert Kraft, the Miami Dolphins' Stephen Ross, the Seattle Seahawks' Paul Allen and the San Francisco 49ers' Jed York. Colin Kaepernick first started kneeling during the national anthem in 2016 as a form of protest against police brutality against minorities.

Kaepernick, who hasn't played since 1 January 2017, also has 2,300 career rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground.

What this is shows is that there is still clearly concern about his stance of kneeling during the national anthem.

New brain injury test could improve patient care
Fann said future research trying to narrow down why some people with brain injuries get dementia while other don't is important. A link between brain injuries and dementia has been confirmed in a study involving nearly three million people.

However, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says that isn't exactly the case.

The Seattle Times reported that the decision wasn't exclusively related to Kaepernick's stance on kneeling, but that the team wanted a firmer plan about his activism and how it might impact football. The quarterback filed a lawsuit against the NFL, saying the league colluded to keep him off the field following his protests of injustice facing the African American community.

"The team asked for his plan moving forward on how to handle everything and there was not a firm plan", Rapoport said.

One video shared by activists showed bodies of about a dozen children, women and men, some with foam at the mouth. "British U.N. The Syrian opposition blamed the suspected chemical attack on Saturday in the town of Douma on government forces.

Between Kaepernick's ongoing unemployment and the fact that safety and fellow protester Eric Reid can't find a job this offseason, it has become increasingly clear that NFL teams simply do not want to roster players who will kneel during the national anthem. "Duane Brown knelt for the anthem and is still on the team".

The anthem protest continued last season, with players from multiple teams kneeling, while others linked arms in their own form of protest and some players remained in the locker room while Star Spangled Banner was being played. The team chose to postpone his scheduled visit while coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider discussed the matter, according to the Times, which added that Kaepernick still could be considered and brought in for a visit.

Seattle still is considering bringing in Kaepernick for a tryout, and no decisions are final, a source said.
