More than one billion people take part in 2018 Earth Day

Earth Day is being celebrated on April 22 with various events across the globe to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

"Nigerians are urged to use the weekend to celebrate the planet and to take action to protect it by ending plastic pollution".

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and leadership from the RI Department of Environmental Management, Clean Ocean Access, and Clean Water Action will come together Monday morning to call to end plastic pollution.
