Will Ferrell Hospitalized After SUV Flips Over in Car Accident

Anchorman star Will Ferrell has been taken to hospital after a auto accident in California that left one person critically injured. Ferrell, 50, was travelling to Los Angeles, along with three other persons, after attending an event in San Diego. Witnesses tell us they got side-swiped by another auto.

Video footage from the scene shows Ferrell sitting on the road and talking with a firefighter.

Ferrell and a colleague, Andrew Steele, were both taken to an Orange County hospital and have since been released without injuries, the United Talent Agency said in a statement Friday.

Aaron Boone suggests Giancarlo Stanton's issue is timing
They've issued 20 free passes in those innings, as well, which could prove to be incredibly advantageous for the Yankees lineup. Stanton was booed vociferously by Yankees fans because of his awful performance during his first homestand wearing pinstripes.

A representative for Ferrell has been contacted for comment.

It's not clear whether he has been released from the hospital yet.

He is said to be "grateful for all the well wishes he and his friends are receiving".

MI on the other hand played 37 good overs of T20 cricket only to be blown away by a Dwayne Bravo special in their opening fixture. It needed just three top-order batsmen to knock over RR's target of 127 and as a result, the middle-order was not even tested.

Ferrell and a passenger were uninjured in the incident which saw the limousine SUV rollover.

Larry Kurtz of the Orange County Fire Authority wouldn't reveal the names of the passengers in the SUV, but he confirmed to HuffPost that the vehicle carried three men in their 40s to 50s and one woman in her 20s. As for the second driver, Deadline reports they were "not hurt" and "not detained or ticketed" by the police.

The accident occurred at 10:55 p.m., shortly after Ferrell appeared as his "Anchorman" character Ron Burgundy at an event in San Diego. Billy Eichner was the host of the evening. "Very scary but very thankful everyone is OK". Ferrell reportedly sustained minor injuries, although it's not clear exactly what.

The loss brought New York's record to 29-53, and left the Knicks with the ninth best odds in next month's NBA Draft Lottery. This season, Stackhouse's club won the G League's Eastern Conference title but fell to the Austin Spurs in the finals.

Ferrell holidayed in Australia in January with his wife and friends, appearing regularly at the Australian Open where he spoke of his love of Melbourne and the Yarra Valley wine region.
