Ariana Grande pays tribute to Manchester on anniversary of concert bombing

The singalong came after a day of events to mark the first anniversary of the horrific event, including a service at Manchester Cathedral - including a one-minute silence observed across the United Kingdom - and a gathering in the city on Tuesday evening (22.05.18).

Albert Square hosted the Manchester Together - With One Voice event, as a day of remembrance for the 22 who died in the arena bombing drew to a close.

"The resilience and determination shown by this city in the 12 months since is testament to that".

Prime Minister Theresa May and Prince William will join families of the victims - seven of whom were children under the age of 18 - for a ceremony to remember the May 22 Manchester Arena attack.

Manchester is marking the day with a series of events including the memorial service at the cathedral and a musical tribute in the evening.

And DJ Nick Grimshaw also sent love to those affected by the attack, while also praising the One Love Manchester benefit concert, which was organised by Ariana and Scooter shortly after the attack. Many people replied to Ariana's message by telling her how much she means to them while others tweeted their condolences to the victims.
