Before summit, U.S. discusses security, investors for DPRK

Trump said he will greet Pompeo and the Americans when they land at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington at 2 a.m. EDT (0600 GMT) Thursday morning. He also wants to reconfirm Japan-U.S. cooperation over the abductions of Japanese nationals and North Korea's nuclear and missile development, before making swift decisions on Japan's policy regarding these issues.

Beijing and Pyongyang are apparently boosting their high-level exchanges ahead of the first-ever summit between the United States and the North.

"And, we are waiting for a historical meeting, which is going to happen between the US President and leader of North Korea".

Officials at the North Korean Embassy in Singapore have been tight-lipped since the Southeast Asian city state was chosen as the venue for historic talks between their leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump last week.

Microsoft's Surface Hub 2 Let's Your Tile a Wall With Screens
The company even went all out with the Surface Hub three years back and chose to announce a touch screen the size of a blackboard. She said Microsoft is starting to provide details today, May 15, because Surface Hubs have a long purchase cycle.

A second Cheong Wa Dae official said the call between Moon and Kim may still take place this week, before the South Korean leader visits Washington to discuss the potential outcome of the upcoming US-North Korea summit with his US counterpart.

"There is not a single global agreement North Korea has signed which it has not blatantly violated and cheated in history, so why are we not questioning North Korea for not following through with its numerous treaty obligations?"

Pompeo said Trump is in a unique position.

Pressed in a separate interview on whether the US would seek regime change, Pompeo said "only time will tell how these negotiations will proceed". But just because President Trump appears ready to accede to what the North Koreans have always wanted doesn't mean we should harbor unrealistic ideas about what is possible.

Donald Trump pledges to help rescue Chinese telecoms giant ZTE
He said that the Commerce Department, the United States authority which has imposed the seven-year ban, had been told to "get it done".

"The implementation of the decision means getting rid of all the nuclear weapons, dismantling them, taking them to Oak Ridge, Tennessee", Bolton said Sunday in an interview with ABC's "This Week".

"I've been on the job about five weeks", Bolton said. The JCPOA provided Iran relief from UN-imposed sanctions in return for curbing its uranium enrichment program and granting access to inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

"I think what the prospect for North Korea is to become a normal nation, to behave and interact with the rest of the world the way South Korea does", he said.

The comments from Bolton and Pompeo come as Trump prepares to meet with Kim in June.

Trump and Xi Move To Resolve Shutdown of ZTE Corp
The widening trade dispute between the world's two biggest economies has taken a toll on both sides. ZTE announced last week the USA sanctions would force it to curtail major operations.

To date, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has done nothing concrete.
