Capitals center Nicklas Backstrom sits out Game 3 with injured hand

He blasted a one-timer on the power play to give Tampa a 2-0 second period lead, then put on a dangling clinic leading up to his team's third goal, which Victor Hedman scored and Kucherov set up.

Teams that win the first two games on the road in the playoffs have a series record of 71-20.

Spaced apart by roughly eight minutes of clock and an intermission, Stamkos and Kucherov's power-play goals accomplished much more than simply putting Tampa Bay ahead 2-0 in its eventual 4-2 victory in Game 3.

Before Sunday night, the Lightning had won Game 2 of a series five consecutive times after losing Game 1.

Manchester City's Premier League champions enjoy bus parade
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praises his players for their 100-point-winning feats in the Premier League this season. The numbers are always consequences of what we have done in terms of the way we play, our mentality.

Washington Capitals fans will be able to ride the subway after Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals thanks to Qatar.

It wasn't ideal, but it was a more complete effort from Tampa Bay, which jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Brett Connolly answered for Washington in the second.

Brett Connolly tried to get Washington back in the mix with a goal later in the period, but the momentum didn't last long. Washington D Michal Kempny was fined $2,419 - the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement - for cross-checking Lightning F Cedric Paquette during Game 2.

Capitals center Nicklas Backstrom remained out of the lineup despite going through the morning skate.

Facebook Trouble With Hate Speech
"For hate speech, our technology still doesn't work that well and so it needs to be checked by our review teams". To address the complaints, Facebook is adding more Burmese language reviewers to its content moderation efforts.

Stamkos, Kucherov and Point each had a goal and an assist, Hedman had a goal and two assists, while Vasilevskiy, who stopped 36 of 38 shots, reminded everyone why he was named a Vezina Trophy finalist this season. With the Lightning again on a power play, Kucherov ripped it from the right circle. To be fair to the rest of the Lightning, though, he had a lot of help at his end, as much as he had from the goal scorers who broke the game open. "We're going to need that to keep going".

Asked what the Lightning needed to do better, three-time Cup-winning defenseman Ken Daneyko responded, "Where do we begin?". John Carlson described the Tampa Bay power play, which scored another two goals, as "deadly.' It had been 'deadly" even in the Lightning losses. He says the way they've played in the Conference Finals is not the way they have played at all other points throughout the season. Even with the horrendous calls in the first period of Game 2, the Caps prevailed, and it wasn't even close.

"It's hard to cover all of them", Lightning defenseman Anton Stralman said. "If you can dominate the wall plays, you can usually have success and create odd-man rushes, and [we] do a good job of that". Heading into Game 3 against the Caps, he had just one goal in seven games.

This was how it should be for Tampa Bay.

Administration officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to provide a candid account of the private meeting. In return, Nielsen reportedly defended her stance and cited laws in several instances to support her comments.

"If you just look where you stand in the series, I feel like it's a big mountain to climb", said former Lightning captain Martin St. Louis, who was on that team.
