Babar Azam had hit three nice boundaries in his 14 as Pakistan went past 100 before Murtagh moved one away and caught the edge through to his Middlesex team-mate Stirling at second slip. The action on the sun-kissed day was a joy for the Irish supporters as the hosts made an outstanding with the ball, taking two wickets for just 13 runs in the match.

Barely had the crowd's cheers subsided when Pakistan were 13-2 off the very next ball.

After a few near run-outs, Pakistan´s third-wicket duo settled in.

Storm Team 11 Forecast: Showers and storms for Thursday
There is a slight chance of showers in the morning, then a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. While Friday is expected to be mostly sunny, the storm pattern may repeat itself again this weekend.

And on the nine previous occasions only Zimbabwe have managed that and, apart from the first Test when Australia beat England, are the only side to avoid losing their inaugural Test.
