Iran's Supreme Leader Has Launched a Scathing Attack on the U.S.

"We expect the package to be given to us by the end of May", the official told reporters before talks in Vienna with Britain, China, France, Germany and Russian Federation. According to an IAEA report shown to the media on Thursday, Iran is observing the key restrictions under the nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The Iran nuclear deal was signed between six countries in 2015 - Iran, US, Britain, Germany, Russia, France and China for lifting economic sanctions on Tehran in exchange for limitations to the country's nuclear programme.

Some Western companies have already quit Iran or said they may have to leave because of US sanctions. In exchange, Tehran was granted widespread relief from worldwide trade, oil and banking sanctions. "The Director General of the IAEA came into the meeting and confirmed that once again that Tehran fully complies with its obligations under the deal", said Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's Director of the Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control. "It will increase the risks".

The effort to salvage the deal has America's allies working with its traditional adversaries to thwart White House actions.

"We welcome Pompeo to the world of foreign policy and diplomacy". Trump is in the middle of several high-stakes games of chicken and we don't know what it takes to make him blink - to offer concessions - or how the games might end if he never does. Nor did he offer to withdraw US forces.

"We really shouldn't underestimate the degree to which the nuclear deal is losing support inside Iran", said Ellie Geranmayeh, a senior policy fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations.

Some Western companies such as French oil giant Total have already said they may have to quit Iran because of the US move.

He said European measures would need to ensure that oil exports did not halt, and that Iran would still have access to the SWIFT worldwide bank payments messaging system.

"We will apply unprecedented financial pressure on the Iranian regime", Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in his first major foreign policy address since moving to the State Department from the Central Intelligence Agency.

In response to a question regarding Israeli regime's attacks on alleged Iranian bases in Syria, Shamkhani said "Iran is in Syria at the invitation of the Syrian government to fight terrorism in the country". The process is aimed at freeing European companies from compliance with USA sanctions and removing obstacles to European banks' trade with Iran.

Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, Zarif rejected a report claiming that the European Union (EU) plans to put forward a proposal to Iran outside of the framework of the JCPOA and start talks about the Islamic Republic's missile power and regional influence, describing it as "a complete lie".

Golden State made big moves in the second half, making it obvious they were ready to stretch the series out to Game 7. For Houston , point guard James Harden led their scoring with 32 points, as well as nine assists and seven rebounds.

But officials at Friday's meeting said they can give NO guarantees at this point.

"We need to think, there is still time", Czaputowicz told Reuters.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Monday threatened Iran with the "strongest sanctions in history" if it did not comply with a list of steep demands, including the withdrawal of all forces under Iranian command in Syria. "We will not seek permission from anyone to develop our defense power and will not hold negotiations on it", he said.

U.S. President Donald Trump triggered fears for Iran's economy when he pulled his country from the 2015 deal. In other words, virtually everything that Pompeo set forth as a United States demand was once Obama-administration policy as well. Its chief, Yukiya Amano, briefed participants before Friday's meeting.

There are few adverse effects and consequences of United States withdrawal from the Iran's nuclear deal.
