Maverick Carter reacts to LeBron James destroying the Raptors

LeBron James and Kevin Love were magnificent for the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 against the Toronto Raptors.

Maverick Carter reacted on Twitter to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers destroying the Toronto Raptors in a pretty fun way on Thursday night. The star was casually clipping his nails.

LeBron had a monster night, putting up 43 points, 8 rebounds and 14 assists while shooting a ridiculous 67.9% in the game.

Burning high rise in Sao Paulo collapses; at least 1 dead
São Paulo Governor Márcio França said the building was an accident waiting to happen but that its residents had resisted leaving. The BBC reports that the fire began around 1.20am local time (4.20am GMT), and that over 100 firefighters attended the scene.

Just like that, the Eastern Conference's top-seeded Toronto Raptors are down 2-0 in their series with the Cleveland Cavaliers after they squandered two straight halftime leads at home.

"I had to learn (to play the five regularly) on the fly", said Love, who finished 11-for-21 with 11 boards and two assists and was plus-21 - a team high.

"Serge hasn't been himself", Casey acknowledged. And as good as James was, that still doesn't explain the 60%. "I don't know what it is". This series has presented serious matchup problems for them, and they have not come close to figuring out how to deal with the Love vs. It (luckily) hasn't been a big deal so far, but one (or preferably both) will have to get in some sort of groove offensively going forward, especially as the Cavs go deeper into the postseason. A timeout less than two minutes into the second half by Toronto Coach Dwane Casey is what the Raptors hope will stop the bleeding, but this is the doomsday scenario for the home team: down 0-1 in the series, giving Cleveland no resistance at all defensively and looking tight.

Hundreds of heartbroken supporters gather in touching tribute to 'warrior' Alfie Evans
Hundreds of heartbroken supporters gathered to pay tribute to Alfie Evans, the "warrior" toddler who passed away today. Charlie died in July 2017 with his parents by his side a day after. "Awful news", Tara Vernal wrote on Facebook .

The question now is: What can the Raptors do to even get back in this series at this point?

"I've always tried to do the best I can in, I guess, the area of willingness to sacrifice for this team and sometimes we're going to have a little bit of pushback and I think that's in some cases healthy", Love said. That's what point we're at now. The nine-year veteran center only scored seven points in game one, and he is now posting 13.1 points and 9.9 rebounds in the playoffs. However, the Cavs managed to secure the victory in overtime behind the remarkable play from professional basketball other than the franchise superstar LeBron James.

By the end of the third quarter, he had already racked up 27. Particularly, J.R. Smith and Kyle Korver each scored five shots from beyond the arc and combined to 39 points. Those are excellent numbers, and when a team scores at that level, it nearly always results in a win, or at the very least a close game. "I go out there every night and fight and try to help this team win". The Raptors entered 6-1 all-time when playing Game 2 at home.
