MCConnell Urged Trump to Reject West Virginia Candidate

In urging a vote against Blankenship, Trump follows in the footsteps of his son - Donald Trump Jr. - who, at the end of last week, tweeted: "I hate to lose". This was going to be a tough race for the Republican candidate to begin with, Trippi added, but this primary fight means there's another unnecessary hurdle for the eventual candidate to overcome.

Rep. Evan Jenkins, left, and West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey greet President Trump at a roundtable discussion in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., on April 5. So I'm gonna go out on a limb here and ask the people of West Virginia to make a wise decision and reject Blankenship!

He has also made freakish attacks on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) a major part of his campaign platform, standing by his use of the racial slur "Chinaperson" to describe McConnell's father-in-law, and arguing in a campaign ad that McConnell "has created millions of jobs for China people".

In a tweet Monday, Trump urged West Virginia voters to oppose the former coal executive in Tuesday's primary.

PM Modi also blamed the Congress for "distorting history" as part of a conspiracy to divide the society. Just because of vote bank politics, they are celebrating Jayantis of Sultans.

But the effect of president's anti-endorsement remains to be seen, as Mr. Trump did not specifically favor either of Mr. Blankenship's opponents, West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and Rep. Evan Jenkins. National Republicans have compared the race to last year's Alabama Senate contest where Republican Roy Moore unexpectedly won the primary but then lost to Democrat Doug Jones in the general.

If we do that, West Virginia will have a senator who will work closely with President Trump.

Republicans are sounding the alarm as it appears Blankenship, who spent a year in prison for violating mining safety regulations following an explosion that killed 29 miners, is leading the pack again ahead of Tuesday's primary.

Many on the right are concerned if Blankenship wins the primary, he'll nearly certainly lose the general election to Democratic Sen. In another poll, it's Blankenship 28 percent, Morrisey 27 percent, Jenkins 14 percent.

And he acknowledged that this will depend on persuading Brussels to negotiate 40 or more workstreams simultaneously. Some argue that even a technological border is enough of a presence to contravene the Good Friday Agreement.

Blankenship fired back in a statement to NBC's Ali Vitali.

Trump, seeking to tap into nativist sentiment across the country, kicked off his 2016 campaign with harsh rhetoric on Mexican immigrations to the United States, labeling undocumented immigrants as "rapists" who are "bringing drugs" and "bringing crime". What about that time he referred to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Chao's husband, as "Cocaine Mitch".

Voting for the primary election takes place Tuesday.

Republicans want to retain control of Congress in the November congressional elections that are viewed by some as referendum on Trump's presidency. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky in a series of political ads, one of which trashed the Senate majority leader for creating jobs for his "China people". "Let's find the very best person in West Virginia and not have a situation where we can't compete in November". Each claimed to have the support of the president, even though Mr. Trump made it explicit that he has no preference between the two.

The memo was attached to a cover note authored by another senior executive and was addressed to Winterkorn, prosecutors allege. VW management quickly learned of the results of the study and discussed potential consequences flowing from the revelations.
