Russia Calls Trump's Space Force Plan 'Alarming'

Having hinted at it a few months ago, on Monday President Trump officially directed the Pentagon to establish a sixth branch of the military, a "space force," that will be "separate but equal" to the US Air force. That said, nothing about creating a new fighting force for space is going to be quick, easy, or bring about the kinds of results we could see either by funding current space exploration organizations (hey, remember NASA?) or private companies now taking up the challenge.

"With his usual flair for communications, President Trump has framed the question of the future of USA policy in space in two words: Space Force".

In his post, Kelly was referring to the Air Force Space Command, a space-focused group that has come under a number of names over the years.

However, the US Congress would need to pass a law authorising the Trump administration to create any new branch of the military, media reports said. A year ago the U.S. House Armed Services Committee drafted a bill to establish the force, citing the need to safeguard U.S. communications and military satellites.

Arsenal set to announce another new signing today
The highly rated goalkeeper failed to get a call up in the Germany squad for this summer's World Cup in Russian Federation . The German goalkeeper has agreed to join the North London outfit , but the length of contract is unknown.

"When it comes to defending America, it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space". United States worries over Chinese and Russian development of powerful space technology and weaponry, mostly against satellites and GPS systems, have done much to drive U.S. government efforts in the sector.

'The essence of the American character is to explore new horizons and to tame new frontiers'.

"The militarization of space is a path toward catastrophe", Viktor Bondarev, a Russian parliamentarian told reporters following Trump's announcement on Monday.

Last summer, the House of Representatives approved the idea to create a "Space Corps", which would fallen under the authority of the Air Force. Creating a new joint military command is largely the purview of Congress, which would have to provide the authority and any funding or shifting of money to a new unit.

Shock win over Germany could help Mexico overcome last-16 jinx
Germany defender Mats Hummels has blamed his country's defeat to Mexico on the lack of defensive cover offered by his teammates. For Loew, "we played badly", gave the Mexicans too much space, lost too many balls and rushed chances under pressure.

Many suspect Trump's Space Force talk is just meant to distract Americans from the humanitarian crisis happening at our borders.

Space, he said, is "going to be important monetarily and militarily".

Trump also promised that will soon return to the United States on the moon and will reach Mars, - stated in the message.

Space remains one of the few areas where U.S. and Russian Federation continue worldwide cooperation. "We do not want this to be "Lucy and the football" again". Space is for telecommunication, navigation, Earth observation satellites and so many other purposes that we take for granted.
