Giuliani says he's not sure collusion is a crime

Giuliani says he's not sure collusion is a crime

The role Cohen, a longtime personal confidant of Trump, might play in the Mueller probe is unknown. "Even more inconceivable that a lawyer would tape a client - totally unheard of & perhaps illegal".

Though the recording is muddled, Trump appears to ask if they should pay "in cash" and Cohen responds "no, no, no". The Justice Department has been investigating Cohen for months, raiding his home, office and hotel room in search of documents related to a $130,000 payment the attorney facilitated before the 2016 election to Stormy Daniels, an adult-film actress who says she had sex with Trump in 2006.

Giuliani, one of Trump's attorneys, railed against special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian Federation interference in the election and whether Trump obstructed justice during two TV interviews Monday.

Giuliani also said it "sounds suspicious" that only one of 183 Cohen recordings obtained from Federal Bureau of Investigation raids on his home and office has Trump on it.

In his interview with ABC, Giuliani insisted that "there's nothing on [Cohen's recordings] that would concern us", though he said Trump's team has hired experts to review and analyze Cohen's tapes.

Wilmer Valderrama Visits Demi Lovato at the Hospital Following Reported Overdose
All the same, some imminent performances from Lovato have been cancelled, including her appearance on the Atlantic City beach tonight.

The Trump Tower meeting was arranged by a music promoter, Rob Goldstone, who reached out to Trump Jr saying he had "official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russian Federation and would be very useful to your father".

Giuliani said Cohen has claimed those present when Trump was informed about the meeting included Trump Jr., Kushner and others.

On Wednesday, Trump expressed disbelief that Cohen would have taped conversations with him, a day after an audio recording of a conversation between the two men was aired on US television.

"We don't see the legal basis for a president obstructing by merely taking an action in firing somebody that he had every right to fire".

That would contradict Trump Jr.'s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee past year, in which he said his father didn't know of the meeting. "That's the three-minute one involving the payment to former playboy model Karen McDougal". That he is, as The New York Times put it yesterday, "increasingly living in a world of selected information and bending the truth to his own narrative".

GET READY: Dundee to experience longest lunar eclipse of the century
In Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane the moon will begin to turn red at around 4.24am Australian Eastern Standard Time on Saturday. As this happens, some part of the Moon will not be visible to stargazers, resulting in a partial lunar eclipse .

Trump Jr. told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he did not remember with whom he spoke at that time, but others testified that his father, Donald Trump, uses a blocked line.

Trump has denied he had any knowledge of the meeting and that it took place.

On Twitter Friday morning, Trump also lashed out at the Mueller probe and suggested, without evidence, that in fact it was Democrats and not his own campaign that had colluded with Russian Federation to interfere in the 2016 election.

And NBC's Ken Dilanian writes: "I may not understand this stuff, but I thought Trump was rich enough that his whole family could fly private".
