Lawyer says there are other Trump-Cohen 'tapes'

After President Trump dumped Michael Cohen on Twitter for recording private conversations with him, Cohen has expressed a sense of resilience to close friends.

"Even more inconceivable that a lawyer would tape a client - totally unheard of & perhaps illegal", Trump added.

Cohen has yet to be charged with any crimes.

It's not clear if these 12 audio recordings are related to the Playmate payoff or similar hush payments, like the one to porn actor Stormy Daniels. The official, former federal Judge Barbara Jones, said in the filing that the 12 recordings were turned over to prosecutors after claims that they were privileged were dropped.

Nick Jonas 'reeling' as Demi Lovato 'rushed to hospital following suspected overdose'
In February, Lovato told CBS News that her single, " Tell Me You Love Me " was actually about conquering her addiction as well. TMZ is reporting that Demi was rushed to a hospital after suffering what appears to be a heroin overdose.

Stephen Gillers, an authority of legal ethics and professor at New York University School of Law, told The American Lawyer in April that such recordings are "an issue on which the national profession has not come to common agreement", but he argued that law firms should forbid the practice except in very narrow circumstances. Trump, through spokespersons, has denied McDougal's claim that the two engaged in an affair. The disclosure spurred speculation that Cohen had made other recordings of Trump.

"Inconceivable that the government would break into a lawyer´s office (early in the morning) - nearly unheard of", Trump tweeted, in a possible reference to an Federal Bureau of Investigation raid on the office of his former lawyer Michael Cohen in April. At least one of the tapes is a recording of a conversation Trump had with Cohen about a payment he made to a former Playboy model.

"There were vast amounts, in fact hundreds of thousands of documents that were seized from Michael Cohen's offices and home and hotel", Klieman said. Giuliani said the payment was never made.

Federal prosecutors in NY are investigating Cohen for possible bank and tax fraud, and for possible campaign law violations linked to a $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels and other matters related to Trump's campaign, a person familiar with the investigation has told Reuters.

In his public remarks at the outset, he mentioned none of the issues that have lately brought U.S. It was a little bit tough at the beginning, but it turned out to be love.

When host George Stephanopoulos asked again about Avenatti's knowledge of the tapes, Avenatti said he knows "the substance of some of the tapes".

This is not the first time that Avenatti has suggested that there could be multiple recordings of conversations Trump and Cohen have had, but his claim has yet to be substantiated.

"All of the information that the Federal Bureau of Investigation seized, that's not under lock and key", he said, adding: "I could have received it from Michael Cohen".

"He's talking about core issues at the heart of the Mueller probe", the person told Fox, dismissing those who think Cohen only has information on "marginal" issues.

Dollar weakens on Trump criticism; stocks tepid
Hang Seng fell to nine-month lows in early trading, but reversed losses as Chinese stocks staged a sharp rebound. Benchmark 10-year US notes last fell 13/32 in price to yield 2.895 percent, from 2.847 percent late on Thursday.

"Mr. Cohen's legal matters will not be tried in the court of public opinion, but in a court of law", Blakely said.
