US not ‘afraid to tackle’ Iran regime at ‘highest level’: Pompeo

Mr Trump responded with a tweet that warned: "NEVER EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKE OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE".

Also on Sunday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo compared the Iranian government to the "mafia".

Tensions between the USA and Iran have been at an all-time high in recent days after President Trump wrote an explosive tweet on Monday directed at Iran.

Some analysts suggest that the lessening of Mr Trump's rhetoric against Iran is a sign of the USA realising that the country has the ability to strike across the Middle East, as Mr Rezeai threatened.

Mimicking Trump's bellicose Twitter threat directed at Iran's leaders the previous day, Zarif wrote: "UNIMPRESSED..."

A war of words erupted over the weekend between President Donald Trump and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

US, Iran face-off to send oil price sky high
We are no longer a country that will stand for your demented words of violence and death. Pompeo said that the government has become a nightmare for the Iranian people.

Rouhani threatened the U.S. Sunday in Tehran while meeting with other Iranian diplomats, according to Iran's state-owned news agency, IRNA. He constantly threatened the Islamic Republic to quit the global nuclear deal, waging war against Iran, imposing the severest sanctions ever against Iran, and cutting its oil exports.

Iranian officials have said U.S. measures equal an "economic war" on Iran.

Back in May, however, President Trump made a decision to go against the vast majority of the worldwide community and pull the United States out of the deal.

He then thanked Modi, the BJP and the RSS for making him understand the true meaning of the Congress and being an Indian. Modi in his speech later had a dig at Gandhi's gesture, accusing him of trying to unseat him as the prime minister .

Pompeo's words come after months of protests in Iran over economic hardships and frustration with leadership.

That could potentially escalate the very situation the nuclear deal sought to avoid - an Iran with a stockpile of enriched uranium that could lead to making atomic bombs. However, he outlined his concerns about Iranian actions in the Middle East, including Tehran's support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Houthi rebels fighting the government in Yemen.

Iran's people want to be free from a corrupt government and also wish for closer ties with the United States, says a USA senator.

Andrew Lincoln opens up about leaving "The Walking Dead"
With Lincoln and Cohan leaving, it falls to Norman Reedus' Daryl and Danai Gurira's Michonne to step up into a leadership role. I won't say who, it's fairly evident once you watch the trailer, and I want to leave you the choice of going in unfettered.
