Ferdinand urges Man Utd not to sell Pogba

Ferdinand urges Man Utd not to sell Pogba

But, Gianluca Di claim Barcelona have made the first move to sign Pogba by offering a player the club knows United would like.

Paul Pogba is becoming unsettled at Manchester United after feeling manager Jose Mourinho unfairly criticised him this summer, sources told ESPN FC.

The World Cup winning midfielder returned to United in 2016 following a spell in Italy with Juventus.

With three years left on his contract, Pogba's agent Mino Raiola is said to have been in Manchester on Monday to try and force the move.

How the Bank of England’s interest rate rise affects you
Most public sector banks are under RBI's prompt corrective action (PCA) framework, due to a rise in stressed loans beyond a point. The hike is only the second since the financial crisis and means interest rates are higher than at any time since March 2009.

The reported agreement would see him pick up £346,000 a week, nearly double what he earns at United. However, with just a day before the close of the Premier League transfer window, Barcelona look the most likely to sign him if he does leave Old Trafford.

Manchester United are not interested though, in letting the midfielder leave.

The Catalan club are working on deals to sell Aleix Vidal, Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and Paco Alcacer to raise the funds to bring in the World Cup victor.

Jose Mourinho tells ESPN FC that the World Cup was the ideal habitat for Paul Pogba as he could 'only think about football'. Pogba also is believed to be open to the move.

Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson set for $10M Thanksgiving weekend clash
The online bookmaker has Woods, a 14-time major champion, at $1.67 ahead of five-time major victor Mickelson ($2.10). Woods, 42, appeared to suggest the match was likely to happen, but said: "I haven't signed anything".

But according to Mundo Deportivo, Dembele has held talks with Barcelona's president Josep Maria Bartomeu and has said that he wants to stay at Camp Nou for another season.

Unsurprisingly, Man United swiftly rejected the offer. On Sunday, some British media, such as the BBC and the Daily Star, say the deal could happen next week.

The Catalans weren't trying to sign the World Cup victor on the cheap though.

With less than 48 hours to go before the transfer window slams shut, Jose Mourinho did his best to take his mind off Manchester United's incomings and outgoings by going for a bite to eat with friends. However, Willian told ESPN Brazil last week that, despite his strong relationship with former boss Mourinho, his plan is to remain in London.
