Trump didn't know about campaigners' Russian Federation link, says Giuliani

Trump didn't know about campaigners' Russian Federation link, says Giuliani

President Donald Trump has spent more than a year deflecting accusations that his 2016 campaign colluded with Russian Federation to win-but his attorney, Rudy Giuliani, employed a new tactic on Monday by declaring he's not sure if collusion with a foreign power during a US presidential campaign is a crime.

"Collusion is not a crime, but that doesn't matter because there was No Collusion (except by Crooked Hillary and the Democrats)!", Trump said on Twitter.

Giuliani made headlines Monday when he gave a series of rambling TV interviews in which he stated that "collusion is not a crime".

Trump's attorney later said on the Fox News program "Outnumbered" that the president did not collude with the Russians but "even if he did it, it's not a crime".

Public Service Commission revokes Charter merger agreement with Time Warner Cable
In a statement, Charter spokesman Andrew Russell accused the commission's actions of being politically motivated. The state lawyers plan to bring an enforcement action in NY state court.

Later, in a discussion with CNN's "New Day," Giuliani said that if you "start analyzing the crime, the hacking is the crime". Hacking is the crime.

"The president didn't hack", Giuliani said.

Giuliani told CNN he was "happy to tell" Mueller that Trump "wasn't at the meeting". So collusion is not only a crime; collusion involves at least four crimes.

Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen has said he'd be willing to go on the record with the special counsel and say the president did indeed know about the meeting. But, as his attorney Rudolph Giuliani did on Monday, Trump muddied those waters today.

The memo reported by Waas "explicitly states that when Trump pressured Comey he had just been told by two of his top aides - his then chief of staff Reince Priebus and his White House counsel Don McGahn - that Flynn was under criminal investigation", the reporter wrote in his NYRB article.

A source familiar with the secret testimony of key Trump Tower meeting participants to the House and Senate Intelligence Committees told NBC News that none of them ever raised the issue of a strategy session to get ready for the meeting. But its outcome is being watched closely since it is the first case brought by Mueller's legal team that has gone to trial.

The Mueller investigation has been ongoing for over a year, and in that time has shifted away from trying to find evidence of "Russian collusion" to looking for evidence that Trump and his team sought to obstruct the investigation itself.

Collusion is not technically a legal charge, but Mr Mueller could bring conspiracy charges if he believes there was such work by campaign managers with Russian Federation.

Thieves with stroller allegedly steal shark from San Antonio aquarium
Covino said the employee immediately reported the suspicious behavior to the aquarium's general manager, Jenny Stellman. The thieves, two men and a woman, took the 1.5ft (4.5m) horn shark from an open tank at the aquarium around 15:00.

But the United States lawyer snapped back in sarcasm and said: "Oh yeah, you scared me away".
