Uruguay youngster Torreira ready for 'scary' Arsenal move

Arsenal are expected to complete a deal to sign the player from Sampdoria and wanted to speed up the process by carrying out a medical in Russian Federation, something that is very common during global tournaments.

Torreira was waiting for the World Cup to conclude, but with Uruguay now out he is free to make his move to London.

But the official confirmation of a transfer has been delayed by Torreira's worldwide involvement with Uruguay in western Europe.
