Nintendo is rolling out its Switch Online service next week

It'll run 35 minutes and cover both Switch and 3DS games, the company said.

Yesterday, Nintendo finally confirmed the launch date for the Switch's paid online service.

Hurricane Florence still a threat despite downgrade
According to CNN , more than 1 million people have been told to evacuate coastal areas of North Carolina, South Carolina , and Virginia.

In addition to downloadable titles and extras available only to subscribers, Switch Online will serve as the console's gateway for online-enabled features regardless of game type.

The service also unlocks access to a library of NES games, including Super Mario Bros.

US east coast brace for Florence
The new storms formed just as tropical depression Gordon left flooding and rain behind for the Gulf Coast. It would be highly unusual for it to head toward the Lowcountry, but it's not impossible, Lamb said.

Nintendo's latest Direct dished up a few spooky surprises including the announcement Luigi's Mansion 3 was on the way.

"Friends can even watch each other play single-player games online, and "pass the controller" at any time". Nintendo announced on Wednesday that Nintendo Switch Online memberships will kick off on September 18th, which is less than a week away. Native voice chat was incorporated into the port of Fortnite, so we know it's at least possible with the Switch. For individual memberships, one, three and 12-month subscriptions will cost $3.99, $7.99 and $19.99, respectively.

Further alleging "collusion" between Jaitley and Mallya, the Congress president demanded resignation of the Finance Minister. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted: "PM Modi meets Neerav Modi before he flees the country".

More details on the service are expected during Nintendo's rescheduled Direct event which takes place on September 13 at 6:00 p.m.
