Video shows Weinstein caressing woman before alleged rape

Also in June, the website the Blast published a still image, pulled from a recording, of a meeting between Thompson and Weinstein in which the producer was said to have groped her.

According to Thompson, she and Weinstein agreed to meet at the Tribeca Grand hotel a couple of hours later.

In an interview with Sky News, Thompson said she believed the meeting would have been with a marketing team, but Weinstein requested the two meet alone and can be heard in the video telling off-camera staffers not to interrupt them.

The frankly disturbing footage, shows Weinstein acting incredibly inappropriate, propositioning the woman, and caressing her.

The meeting gets off to an bad start as Weinstein brushes away a handshake and embraces Thompson in a hug, making long strokes down her back and saying "That's nice'".

Sky News aired only portions of the video.

In a statement to Sky News, Weinstein's lawyer Benjamin Brafman says that the video of Thompson's meeting with Weinstein "demonstrates that there is nothing forceful, but casual if not awkward flirting from both parties".

Weinstein has been indicted on sex crime accusations involving three women in NY but not Thompson, according to the AP.

She added: "At first I tried to volley a little bit with him".

Instead, she alleges, he lured her to his hotel room, where he raped her.

Thompson tells Sky News that at one point in the meeting Weinstein reached his hand under the desk and put it under Thompson's skirt.

Thompson says that when she arrived at the hotel, Weinstein instructed her to "follow me", and she did so thinking they were going to a conference room. Thompson is clearly on edge, trying to keep the boundaries of professionalism up while also attempting to appease the very rich and powerful man she is hoping to do business with. "He corned me, over and over again".

Shortly after doing so, he rejected her handshake offer and hugged Thompson instead, rubbing her back and saying: "That's nice".
